Sock manufacturer Thorlo owner wants to create $1B business in central North Carolina; an article from Charlotte Business Journal

This sock plant is 145 miles west of the largest Army installation in the US. Fort Bragg consists of 57,000 troops and in a 2011 economic impact study reportedly contributes $12.9B to the surrounding 11 county region. And one thing an Army will always need is… socks.

Fort Bragg is 141 miles west of Camp Lejeune Marine Corp Base. Thorlos socks are currently distributed nationwide at Dick’s Sporting Goods stores and online via Zappos.com in Las Vegas.
