Mark Balbirer provided 30% kickbacks from a so-called penny stock that did not meet any penny stock legal classification.  Like many film producers he was selling “air”.

 

No. 1 in stock fraud: South Florida busts net $1.7B since 2010

A three-year effort to crack down on stock and investment scams has nailed 153 people, resulting in $1.7 billion in restitution being ordered, the U.S. Attorneys office in Miami said Wednesday.
