Video: Why professional Wall Street institutional investors in the business of making profits are not interested in your film

Wall Street investment bankers have been funding Hollywood for 100 years and remain the #1 source of VC for films.

Just ask multiple Golden Globe / Oscar-winning film producer Cecil B. DeMille & V.P. of Culver City branch of Bank of America (1924).

Even film producer / NBA sports team owner & investor Billionaire Mark Cuban says “the quickest way to get a NO answer is to say “I have a great idea””.

FYI: The word investment comes from the word VESTED; as in borrower vested interest.  Also known as ‘skin in game’.  The sweet spot is 20%.  And no; sweat equity does not count.
